RoboCycle
Paying attention to creating a promotional and encouraging space for waste segregation can provide the basis for social environments. One of the situations affecting the broader cultural-social impacts is commercial complexes, like large multi-purpose building with diverse commercial and cultural backgrounds. In this interaction-sustainable design project, incentives, and promotional strategies as significant factors in waste separation projects in commercial environments have been investigated. In the first step, this concept deals with the meaning of sustainable design and its impact on architecture and industrial design and then explores cultural consumerism and waste management. Information gathering and design through observation, questionnaires, and scenario writing were done at the Kourosh Mall. The information was obtained from one hundred users. Finally, based on the results obtained, criteria were applied to the final design based on the factors of sustainable design and interaction design—the result of this project published in the international design conference.
